Curlex is the leading excelsior blanket manufactured today. The fibers are consistent throughout the roll, helping to give uniform re-vegetation. Curlex brand excelsior blanket comes in various sizes and netting configurations. Below are the sizes and types that Newsom Seed carries.
Curlex Single Net (Curlex I) A specific cut of Great Lakes Aspen curled wood excelsior with 80% six-inch fibers or greater fiber length. It shall be of consistent thickness, with fibers evenly distributed throughout the entire area of the blanket. The top of each blanket shall be covered with a biodegradable netting. Material shall not contain any weed seed or chemical additives.
Recommended Use: Slopes to 2:1, Channel to 7 ft/s, shear stress to 1.75 lb./sf
