Shade is always a hard place to grow grass. To improve the chances of success, our mixture contains 4 species. 85% is comprised of 3 “fine” fescues, all of which tolerate low levels of light and dry soil.
Sow at 4-5 lbs per 1000 ft2 for bare ground.
Sow at 2-2.5 lbs per 1000 ft2 for overseeding.
