Pylex

Pylex herbicide is the standard when it comes to control of Bermudagrass and Goosegrass in cool-season turf, providing unmatched performance on these difficult-to-eliminate weeds. It has also shown excellent control of nimblewill, crabgrass, clover, Dallisgrass and others. It is recommended that Pylex be used with a crop oil concentrate to improve herbicide coverage, resulting in improved weed control.

Contains: 29.7% Topramezone

Use Rates: For controlling bermudagrass, two – three late summer applications, spaced three weeks apart have shown the best results. Also tank-mixing Pylex with Triclopyr (2 pints per Acre) has provided the greatest control and significantly reduces the bleaching.

1st app: (Mid July) Pylex herbicide 1.5 oz./A + triclopyr 32.0 oz./A + crop oil concentrate at 0.5% v/v

2nd app: (Early Aug) Pylex herbicide 1.5 oz./A + triclopyr 32.0 oz./A + crop oil concentrate at 0.5% v/v

3rd app: (Late Aug/1st Sept) Pylex herbicide 1.5 oz./A + triclopyr 32.0 oz./A + crop oil concentrate at 0.5% v/v

Dates are approximate – applications should be made so that the final application is timed prior to the first frost.
